$1.7 Million Luke Air Force Project Nears Completion
Niles Radio is in final stages of a $1.7 Million project to tie
Luke Air Force Base west of Phoenix, Arizona, to training and
communications systems located near Gila Bend, Arizona.
The system is comprised of 3 Alcatel 135 Megabit
Microwave hops and 4 International Microwave Corporation Analog
Video Radio hops. Video is digitized with Barco Broadcast MPEG
video equipment. Harris Multiplexors were also utilized
extensively.
The turn key system and installation also required the
construction of 2 new buildings and a new communications tower.

$5.4 Million Alaska Project Begins
Niles Radio Communications began integration and construction
procedures for a one year upgrade and systems integration
project at Eielson AFB near Fairbanks, Alaska. The projects
various phases will total nearly $5.4 Million on completion and
should be finished in September 2003.

July 15, 2001
$0.59 Million Goldwater Project Completed
Niles Radio has completed a five
hop Alcatel and Harris Microwave Systems Upgrade at
the Barry M. Goldwater Bombing Range near Gila Bend, Arizona.
The modernization and upgrade project replaced 5 analog radio
hops with new Digital Microwave radios and state of the art
multiplex equipment.
